Research Interests

I am a PhD Candidate at the Chair of IT Security working at the intersection of applied security and Privacy-Enhancing Technologies (PETs), with a particular interest in decentralized systems and supply-chain contexts. I am motivated by cross-cutting security problems that arise when multiple actors, incentives, and data-sharing constraints interact. Currently, I work on decentralized networks for sharing Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) anonymously and for AI-based social media recommender algorithms. Methodologically, I am interested in foundational and applied research, combining system-level reasoning with empirical and prototyping approaches.

Ongoing Projects

  • Creating a Privacy-Preserving Smart Building Testbed
  • Quantifying Packet Security in Open-Source Software Ecosystems
  • Decentralized Network Security (CTI Sharing and Social Media)

Student Work

Thank you for your interest in completing your thesis under my supervision. At present, my supervision capacity is fully allocated. I expect to have new openings in the summer and will announce them here.
